| Northern Berks EMS, Leesport Fire Company, Northern Berks Police Department, and our special guests from Muhlenberg EMS came together at the Leesport Playground for a memorable First Responder Day with the kids from the YMCA Day Camp.
Our teams spent the morning sharing our passion and purpose with future generations. The campers rotated through stations hosted by EMS, Fire, and Police โ getting hands-on experience with the tools we use, learning how we respond to emergencies, and most importantly, understanding when and how to call 911.
The kids were excited to explore emergency vehicles, handle real equipment, and ask some great questions.
Each child received handouts from Fire and EMS, and to top it off, the Police Chief treated everyone to a cooler full of freeze pops โ perfect for a summer day!
It was a fun, educational, and inspiring event. Weโre proud to serve and protect our community and are incredibly grateful to the Leesport YMCA staff for inviting us and helping make it such a success.
Thank you to all the agencies and individuals who helped bring this day to life! |
