“We Will Never Forget

”
It’s a phrase we all hear when we reflect on the tragedy of September 11th, 2001—but what does it truly mean?

As time passes, more and more of today’s youth and young adults were not even born when the attacks took place. So how do we keep the memory of what happened that day alive? We do it by honoring the sacrifices of those who gave their lives to save others, by remembering the innocent lives that were lost, and by supporting the families whose loved ones never came home. We remember the survivors who still carry physical and emotional scars.

But most importantly, we remember how, in our darkest hours, we as Americans came together—united in strength, compassion, and resolve. That resilience showed the world that no matter the evil, destruction, or loss we face, we will always rise stronger than before.

To truly never forget means to pass on these stories. We must continue to teach every generation about the loss, the pain, and above all, the resilience of the American spirit. In doing so, we keep alive the legacy of those who were taken from us and ensure the strength of future generations.

So today—and every day—take a moment to remember the lives lost, honor the sacrifices made, and carry forward the resilience that defines us as a nation.
